Therapeutic conversations through A social & Racial justice len.

Narrative Therapy MKE is a woman-owned therapy organization. Narrative Therapy MKE unapologetically supports a ceasefire in Palestine (and is against ALL genocide happening everywhere), is an LGBTQ+ affirming ally, believes that black lives matter, and that we need to believe the experience of black and brown individuals.

Meet Bao

Nyob Zoo (Hello)

I am a 2nd generation Hmong American. I created Narrative Therapy MKE to be a space for people, like you, who are searching for a place to think and organize their thoughts (and story) in more meaningful ways.

This is a space for people from all walks of life who not only notice their problems, but can see it within the context of a complex, systemic, world. You, yourself, are a complex person living within systems and intersectionality of race, class, gender, culture etc. My hope is that this space will allow you to tell and retell your story in a way that will lead you to take full ownership as the author of your life. And to also challenge that which you no longer want to carry.

You might be feeling hopeless and resigned with the problems in your life, and yet YOU are HERE. And that makes all the difference!

You deserve to reclaim your life from these problems and reconnect with yourself in more meaningful way.

I invite you to reach out for a (free) conversation to help you make the decision on whether you want to consult with me. Please don’t hesitate to reach out even if you don’t feel that you perfectly fit my “ideal client” as mention above; we can still meet and make that decision together. If I or you feel that you are better suited with someone else I can try my best to refer/connect you with other resources.

I’m glad you’re taking the first step (or next step), and hope you choose me to partner with you on this journey.
